The second video is about countries and the correspondent native language

These two videos have one similar aspect, the diversity of languages and its importance. However, the first one is more about the frightened languages, the endangered ones, and the importance of it in a regional and global context, because by loosing a local language, we loose the identity and the culture of the people who talk it. The second one is more about the diversity of languages, in all the countries of the globe, so, as we should know, there as more than 6100 languages, and it is too important for us not to learn, respect and preserve them. I´m actually having the power of speaking Portuguese and Spanish very well, learning more and more in English and having the first steps in Italian(what a fantastic language, but as cute as Spanish... XD)

The second video, Yakko's video reminded me the song of the periodic table and that's two very different things, but they are similar in one point. There can be many different elements in the universe just like there are many different languages in the world. When I saw the first video I felt very concerned about the exctintion of some languages. Because each language represents a culture, and we live in a multicultural world. So, we should preserve our native tongue, because it's our identity. It will distinguish us from another people. The Yakko's video informs us about the languages spoken in each country of the world. According to my opinion, these two video clips are similar as they both talk about the diversity of languages that exist around the world. However, the first video talks about it more seriously and draws our attention to the death of the language, and as a consequence, the death of cultural heritage. The second video is an animated song where Yakko, while singing, associates each language to the respective countries.
In conclusion, both videos talk about the different languages but in a different way, as the first is an alert to preserve languages in order to preserve each culture and the second is a song that talks about the same subject but in a more funny way.
